The hadith of Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) that Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr was born in the Mosque of Quba. It has been mentioned in the chapter on the Emigration (Hijra), and in this report there is this addition: that the Muslims rejoiced greatly at his birth, because people used to say to them, "The Jews have cast a spell on you, so you will not have children."

سیدہ اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہا کی حدیث کہعبداللہ بن زبیر مسجد قباء میں پیدا ہوئے، ہجرت کے باب میں حدیث گزر چکی ہے اور اس روایت میں اتنا زیادہ ہے کہ مسلمان اس کے پیدا ہونے سے بہت خوش ہوئے کیونکہ لوگ ان سے کہتے تھے کہ یہودیوں نے تم پر جادو کر دیا ہے لہٰذا تمہارے ہاں اولاد نہ ہو گی۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1912]
