It is narrated from Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! A black son has been born to me." He (peace be upon him) said, "Do you have camels?" He said, "Yes." He (peace be upon him) asked, "What color are they?" He said, "Red." He (peace be upon him) asked, "Is there any of a dusky (ashen) color among them?" He said, "Yes." He (peace be upon him) said, "How did that come about?" He said, "Perhaps some vein of the female drew out that color." So he (peace be upon him) said, "Perhaps some vein has drawn out the color of your son too." (So he himself became convinced that his suspicion was wrong.)
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہایک شخص نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس آیا اور کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! میرے ہاں ایک کالا بچہ ہوا ہے، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”کیا تیرے پاس اونٹ ہیں؟“وہ بولا جی ہاں۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے پوچھا:”ان کا رنگ کیسا ہے؟“وہ بولا سرخ رنگ ہے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے پوچھا:”کیا ان میں کوئی خاکستری (خاکی) رنگ کا بھی ہے؟“اس نے کہا جی ہاں۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”یہ کہاں سے ہو گیا؟“وہ بولا شاید مادہ کی کسی رگ نے یہ رنگ کھینچ لیا ہو۔ تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”تیرے بیٹے کا رنگ بھی کسی رگ نے کھینچ لیا ہو گا (چنانچہ وہ خود ہی قائل ہو گیا کہ اس کا شبہ غلط تھا)۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1881]
