الترجمة الإنجليزية
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The person who will receive the lightest punishment in Hell — Allah will ask him: 'If you had everything on earth, would you give it all to ransom yourself?' He will say: 'Yes.' Allah will say: 'I had asked you for something far easier than this when you were still in the loins of Adam — that you should not associate anything with Me — but you insisted on worshipping others.'"
الترجمة الأردية
سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”جس شخص کو دوزخ میں سب سے ہلکا عذاب ہو گا، اللہ تعالیٰ اس سے پوچھے گا کہ اگر تیرے پاس اس وقت زمین بھر کا مال ہو تو اس کو دے کر تو اپنے آپ کو چھڑانا چاہے گا؟ تو وہ کہے گا کہ بیشک۔ اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا کہ میں نے تو تجھ سے اس سے بھی بہت آسان بات چاہی تھی جب تو آدم کی پشت میں تھا کہ میرے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ بنانا، تو نے نہ مانا اور شرک پر ہی اڑا رہا۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1402]
