حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ الأَعْمَشَ فَقَالَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، سَمِعْتُ حُذَيْفَةَ، يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَنَّ الأَمَانَةَ نَزَلَتْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فِي جَذْرِ قُلُوبِ الرِّجَالِ، وَنَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ فَقَرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلِمُوا مِنَ السُّنَّةِ ".
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Ali bin Abdullah al-Madini narrated to us, he said Sufyan bin Uyaynah narrated to us, he said I asked al-A'mash (upon him be mercy), so he narrated from Hadrat Zayd bin Wahb, who said: I heard Hadrat Hudhayfah bin al-Yaman (may Allah be well pleased with him) say: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated to us: "Trustworthiness descended from the heavens and settled in the depths of the hearts of people (i.e., it was placed in their natural disposition), and the Qur'an was revealed, so they acquired knowledge from the Qur'an and learnt from the Sunnah" (meaning both the Qur'an and the Sunnah strengthened the innate trustworthiness).
الترجمة الأردية
ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ مدینی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے اعمش رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ سے پوچھا تو انہوں نے زید بن وہب سے بیان کیا کہ میں نے حضرت حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ہم سے ارشاد فرمایا: "امانت آسمان سے نازل ہوئی اور لوگوں کے دلوں کی گہرائیوں میں اتری (یعنی فطری طور پر ودیعت ہوئی)، اور قرآن مجید نازل ہوا تو لوگوں نے قرآن مجید سے علم حاصل کیا اور سنت سے سیکھا (یعنی قرآن و سنت دونوں سے اس فطری امانت داری کو مزید تقویت ملی)۔"
