حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، سَمِعَ الْبَرَاءَ ـ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قَيْسٍ ـ أَفَرَرْتُمْ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ فَقَالَ لَكِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَمْ يَفِرَّ، كَانَتْ هَوَازِنُ رُمَاةً، وَإِنَّا لَمَّا حَمَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمِ انْكَشَفُوا، فَأَكْبَبْنَا عَلَى الْغَنَائِمِ، فَاسْتُقْبِلْنَا بِالسِّهَامِ، وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى بَغْلَتِهِ الْبَيْضَاءِ، وَإِنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ آخِذٌ بِزِمَامِهَا وَهْوَ يَقُولُ {أَنَا النَّبِيُّ لاَ كَذِبْ}. قَالَ إِسْرَائِيلُ وَزُهَيْرٌ نَزَلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ بَغْلَتِهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Abu Ishaq (upon him be mercy) narrates that he heard Hadrat Bara' (may Allah be well pleased with him), when a man from the Qais tribe asked him, 'Did you flee from the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on the day of Hunain?' He replied, 'But the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did not flee. The Hawazin were skilled archers. When we attacked them, they retreated, and we fell upon the spoils, then we were met with a shower of arrows. I saw the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on his white mule, and Abu Sufyan was holding its reins, and the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was declaring: I am the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), this is no lie.' Isra'il and Zuhair state that the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) dismounted from his mule.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت ابو اسحاق رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ فرماتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے حضرت براء رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا، جب قیس کے ایک شخص نے ان سے پوچھا کہ کیا آپ حنین کے دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو چھوڑ کر بھاگ گئے تھے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: لیکن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نہیں بھاگے۔ ہوازن اچھے تیر انداز تھے اور جب ہم نے ان پر حملہ کیا تو وہ پیچھے ہٹ گئے اور ہم مالِ غنیمت پر ٹوٹ پڑے تو ہمارے سامنے تیروں کی بارش ہوئی۔ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو اپنی سفید خچر پر سوار دیکھا اور ابو سفیان اس کی لگام پکڑے ہوئے تھے اور حضور صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ارشاد فرما رہے تھے: میں نبی ہوں جھوٹ نہیں۔ اسرائیل اور زہیر فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم خچر سے اتر گئے۔
