حَدَّثَنِي قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ، مَوْلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ،. أَنَّ رَجُلاً، قَامَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، مِنْ أَيْنَ تَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نُهِلَّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الشَّأْمِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ، وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ ". وَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ وَيَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ ". وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ لَمْ أَفْقَهْ هَذِهِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that a man stood in the mosque and submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), from where do you command us to assume the state of ihram? The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: The people of Madinah should assume ihram from Dhul-Hulayfa, the people of Syria from al-Juhfa, and the people of Najd from Qarn (al-Manazil). Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) says: People report that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) also said: The people of Yemen should assume ihram from Yalamlam. Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) used to say: I do not recall this last statement from the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نے مسجد میں کھڑے ہو کر عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! آپ ہمیں کس جگہ سے احرام باندھنے کا حکم دیتے ہیں؟ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اہلِ مدینہ ذو الحلیفہ سے احرام باندھیں، اہلِ شام جحفہ سے احرام باندھیں، اور اہلِ نجد قرن (المنازل) سے احرام باندھیں۔ حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں: لوگوں کا کہنا ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے یہ بھی ارشاد فرمایا: اہلِ یمن یلملم سے احرام باندھیں۔ حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے تھے: یہ (آخری) بات مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے یاد نہیں رہی۔
