حدثنا محمد بن المُثَنَّى بن عبيد حَدَّثَنا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عن ذكوان عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لا يزني الزاني حين يزني وهو مؤمن ولا يسرق حين يسرق وهو مؤمن ولا يشرب الخمر حين يشربها وهو مؤمن والتوبة معروضة بعدوهذا الحديثُ قد رواه شعبة عن الأعمش بهذا الإسناد ورواه أبو معاوية أيضا عن الأعمش
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna ibn Ubaid narrated to us, Ibn Abi Adi narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Sulaiman, from Dhakwan, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «A fornicator does not commit fornication while he is a believer, a thief does not steal while he is a believer, and a person does not drink wine while he is a believer. And repentance remains open thereafter.» This hadith was narrated by Shu'bah from al-A'mash with this chain, and Abu Mu'awiyah also narrated it from al-A'mash.
