حدثنا يحيى بن داود حَدَّثَنا أبو معاوية عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ما بين النفختين أربعون فلا أدري أربعون يوما أو أربعون سنةوهذا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمْهُ يُرْوَى مرفوعا بهذا الإسناد إلا من حديث أبي معاوية

And with it, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «Allah created mercy in one hundred parts. He retained ninety-nine parts with Himself and sent down one part to the earth. From that one part comes all the compassion creatures show to one another.»
