حَدَّثنا طالوت بن عباد قَال حَدَّثنا الربيع بن مسلم عن خصيب بن جحدر عَن أبي صالح عَن أبي هُرَيرة أن رجلاً شكا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم سوء الحفظ فقال استعن بيمينك على حفظكوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الوجه بهذا الإسنادوالخصيب بن جحدر رجل من أهل البصرة حدث عنه الربيع بن مسلم وعنبسة بن عَبد الرحمن اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم سوء الحفظ فقال استعن بيمينك على حفظكوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الوجه بهذا الإسنادوالخصيب بن جحدر رجل من أهل البصرة حدث عنه الربيع بن مسلم وعنبسة بن عَبد الرحمن
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Talut ibn Abbad narrated to us, he said: al-Rabi ibn Muslim narrated to us from Khusayb ibn Jahdur from Abu Salih from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man complained to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about poor memory, so he said: Seek assistance with your right hand for your memorization. This hadith is not known to be narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) except through this chain with this chain of transmission. Al-Khusayb ibn Jahdur is a man from the people of Basrah; al-Rabi ibn Muslim and Anbasah ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated from him.
