حَدَّثنا عَمْرو قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو عَاصِم قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن عَجْلان عَن أَبِيه عَن أبي هُرَيرة أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال مثل ابن آدم وماله وأهله وعمله كرجل كان له ثلاثة إخوة أو ثلاثة أصحاب فقال أحدهم أنا معك حياتك فإذا مت فلست منك ولست مني وَقال الآخر أنا معك فإذا بلغت تلك الشجرة فلست منك ولست مني وَقال الآخر أنا معك حيا وميتا اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال مثل ابن آدم وماله وأهله وعمله كرجل كان له ثلاثة إخوة أو ثلاثة أصحاب فقال أحدهم أنا معك حياتك فإذا مت فلست منك ولست مني وَقال الآخر أنا معك فإذا بلغت تلك الشجرة فلست منك ولست مني وَقال الآخر أنا معك حيا وميتا
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Amr narrated to us, saying: Abu Asim narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ajlan narrated to us from his father from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "The likeness of the son of Adam and his wealth, his family, and his deeds is like a man who had three brothers or three companions. One of them said: 'I am with you during your life, but when you die, I am nothing to you and you are nothing to me.' The second said: 'I am with you until you reach that tree, then I am nothing to you and you are nothing to me.' And the third said: 'I am with you alive and dead.'"
