حَدَّثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ سَيَّارٍ قَال حَدَّثنا عُمَر بن حفص بن غياث قال حدثني أبي عن الأعمش عَن أبي إسحاق عَن الأغر أنه حدثه عَن أبي سَعِيد وأبي هُرَيرة قَالا قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم رفعه قال العز إزاري والكبرياء ردائي فمن نازعني منهما شيئا عذبتهوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ إلاَّ حفص ولاَ عَن حفص إلاَّ عُمَر بن حفص اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم رفعه قال العز إزاري والكبرياء ردائي فمن نازعني منهما شيئا عذبتهوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ إلاَّ حفص ولاَ عَن حفص إلاَّ عُمَر بن حفص
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ahmad ibn Mansur ibn Sayyar narrated to us, saying: Umar ibn Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to me from al-Amash from Abu Ishaq from al-Agharr who narrated to him from Hadrat Abu Said and Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with them) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated, raising it (to Allah): "Might is My lower garment and Grandeur is My cloak. Whoever contends with Me for either of them, I shall punish him." This hadith is not known to us to have been narrated from al-Amash except by Hafs, and not from Hafs except by Umar ibn Hafs.
