حَدَّثنا أحمد بن أَبَان القرشي قَال حَدَّثنا عَبد العزيز بن مُحَمد الدَّرَاوَرْدِيّ عن يزيد بن خُصَيفة عن مُحَمد بن عَبد الرحمن بن ثوبان ولاَ أعلمه إلاَّ عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ أُتِيَ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم بسارق فقالوا سرق قال ما أخاله سرق قال بلى قد فعلت يا رَسولَ اللهِ قال اذهبوا به فاقطعوه ثُمَّ احسموه ثُمَّ ائتوني به فذهب به فقطع ثُمَّ حسم ثُمَّ أُتِيَ بِهِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فقال تب إلى الله قال تبت إلى الله قال تاب الله عليك أو قال اللهم تب عَلَيْهِوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ يُرْوَى عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ بسارق فقالوا سرق قال ما أخاله سرق قال بلى قد فعلت يا رَسولَ اللهِ قال اذهبوا به فاقطعوه ثُمَّ احسموه ثُمَّ ائتوني به فذهب به فقطع ثُمَّ حسم ثُمَّ أُتِيَ بِهِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فقال تب إلى الله قال تبت إلى الله قال تاب الله عليك أو قال اللهم تب عَلَيْهِوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ يُرْوَى عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ahmad ibn Aban al-Qurashi narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Aziz ibn Muhammad al-Darawardi narrated to us from Yazid ibn Khusayfah from Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Thawban — and I do not know except that it is from Abu Hurairah — who said: A thief was brought to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and they said: 'He has stolen.' He said: "I do not think he has stolen." The man said: 'Indeed I have done it, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: "Take him, cut (his hand), then cauterize it, then bring him to me." So they took him, cut his hand, cauterized it, then brought him to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), who said: "Repent to Allah." He said: 'I have repented to Allah.' He said: "Allah has accepted your repentance" — or he said: "O Allah, accept his repentance." This hadith is not known to us to be narrated from Abu Hurairah except through this route with this chain.
