وحَدَّثنا طليق بن مُحَمد قَال حَدَّثنا يزيد قال أَخْبَرنا مُحَمد بن إسحاق عَن موسى بن يسار عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مثلي ومثل الأنبياء قبلي كمثل رجل بنى بيتًا فاحسنه وأجمله إلاَّ موضع لبنة فجعل الناس يطوفون به ويتعجبون منه ويقولون ما رأينا أحسن من هذا لولا موضع هذه اللبنة فكنت أنا موضع تلك اللبنة اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مثلي ومثل الأنبياء قبلي كمثل رجل بنى بيتًا فاحسنه وأجمله إلاَّ موضع لبنة فجعل الناس يطوفون به ويتعجبون منه ويقولون ما رأينا أحسن من هذا لولا موضع هذه اللبنة فكنت أنا موضع تلك اللبنة
الترجمة الإنجليزية
And Taliq ibn Muhammad narrated to us, saying: Yazid narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us from Musa ibn Yasar from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "My likeness and the likeness of the Prophets before me is like that of a man who built a house and made it beautiful and splendid, except for the place of one brick. The people went around it and marveled at it, saying: 'We have not seen anything more beautiful than this, if only the place of this brick were complete.' So I am the place of that brick."
