Al-Abbas ibn al-Faraj narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Khalid ibn Uthmah narrated to us, he said: Musa ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Walid ibn Rabah, from his father, who heard Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) saying: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «I would not like to have the amount of gold equal to Mount Uhud in my house, such that a night passes while I still have a single dinar from it, except what I set aside to repay a debt or to spend in the path of Allah.»
