حَدَّثنا أحمد بن الفرج قَال حَدَّثنا أيوب بن سُوَيْد قَال حَدَّثنا يُونُس عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَنَّه نهى عن الوصال في الصيام فقالوا إنك تواصل قال وأيكم مثلي إني أبيت يطعمني ربي ويسقيني اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَنَّه نهى عن الوصال في الصيام فقالوا إنك تواصل قال وأيكم مثلي إني أبيت يطعمني ربي ويسقيني
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ahmad ibn al-Faraj narrated to us, he said: Ayyub ibn Suwayd narrated to us, he said: Yunus narrated to us, from az-Zuhri, from Sa'id, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who forbade continuous fasting (wisal). They said: "But you fast continuously." He stated: «Which of you is like me? Indeed, I spend the night while my Lord feeds me and gives me drink.»
