الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ahmad ibn Abdah narrated to us, he said: Sufyan ibn Uyaynah informed us, from Amr ibn Dinar, from Ata — and Ibn Jurayj from Ata — both from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delayed the Isha prayer until as much of the night passed as Allah willed. Umar said to him: 'The women and children have fallen asleep.' So he came out saying: «Were it not that I would cause hardship to my ummah, I would have commanded them to pray at this hour.» This hadith has been narrated from Ibn Abbas and from others with different wordings; we mentioned each hadith in its place with its wording.
