حَدَّثنا إبراهيم بن سَعِيد الجوهري قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن حُجْر قَال حَدَّثنا سَعِيد بْنُ عَبد الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْر عَن أَبيهِ عَن أُمِّهِ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْر رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّرَّاجِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الشِّغَارِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibrahim ibn Sa'id al-Jawhari narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Hujr narrated to us, he said: Sa'id ibn Abd al-Jabbar ibn Wa'il ibn Hujr narrated to us from his father from his mother from Wa'il ibn Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) [forbade]. And Yahya ibn Yahya narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd informed us from Abd ar-Rahman as-Sarraj from Nafi' from Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade shighar [a type of marriage arrangement where two men exchange daughters without dowry].
