حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ نَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ قَالَ نَا وَهْبٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَامَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ ثُمَّ فَزِعَ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ طَوِيلَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ أَوْتَرَ فَذَلِكَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَامَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ ثُمَّ فَزِعَ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ طَوِيلَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ أَوْتَرَ فَذَلِكَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً

Muhammad ibn Ma'mar narrated to us, he said: Abu 'Amir narrated to us, he said: Wahb narrated to us, from 'Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn 'Amr, from his father, from 'Abdullah ibn Qays ibn Makhramah, from Zayd ibn Khalid, may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, sleep one night, then he woke startled and stood up and prayed two light rak'ahs. Then he stood and prayed two long rak'ahs. Then he prayed two rak'ahs that were shorter than the ones before them. Then he prayed two rak'ahs that were shorter than the ones before them. Then he prayed two rak'ahs that were shorter than the ones before them. Then he prayed two rak'ahs that were shorter than the ones before them. Then he performed the witr prayer. That was thirteen rak'ahs in total.
