حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ نَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ نَا ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَى بَيْتِ سَعْدٍ فَسَلَّمَ فَرَدَّ سَعْدٌ السَّلَامَ وَخَافَتَ وَانْطَلَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَحِقَهُ سَعْدٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّمَا حَمَلَنِي عَلَى ذَلِكَ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ تَزِيدَنَا مِنْ كَثْرَةِ السَّلَامِ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى دَخَلَ عَلَى سَعْدٍ فَأَتَاهُ بِإِنَاءٍ فِيهِ مَاءٌ فَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ أَتَاهُ مِلْحَفَةً وَرْسِيَّةً فَاشْتَمَلَ بِهَا قَالَ قَيْسٌ فَرَأَيْتُ أَثَرَ الْوَرْسِ عَلَى عُكَنِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى الْأَنْصَارِ وَعَلَى ذُرِّيَّةِ الْأَنْصَارِ وَعَلَى ذُرِّيَّةِ ذُرِّيَّةِ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ أَوْكَفَ سَعْدٌ حِمَارًا لَهُ عَلَيْهِ قَطِيفَةٌ فَقَالَ لِابْنِهِ اذْهَبْ فَرَدَّ الْحِمَارَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ارْكَبْ عَلَى صَدْرِ حِمَارِكَ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ارْكَبْ قَالَ إنَّكَ رَبُّهُ قَالَ هُوَ لَكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ السَّلَامَ وَخَافَتَ وَانْطَلَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَحِقَهُ سَعْدٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّمَا حَمَلَنِي عَلَى ذَلِكَ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ تَزِيدَنَا مِنْ كَثْرَةِ السَّلَامِ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى دَخَلَ عَلَى سَعْدٍ فَأَتَاهُ بِإِنَاءٍ فِيهِ مَاءٌ فَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ أَتَاهُ مِلْحَفَةً وَرْسِيَّةً فَاشْتَمَلَ بِهَا قَالَ قَيْسٌ فَرَأَيْتُ أَثَرَ الْوَرْسِ عَلَى عُكَنِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى الْأَنْصَارِ وَعَلَى ذُرِّيَّةِ الْأَنْصَارِ وَعَلَى ذُرِّيَّةِ ذُرِّيَّةِ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ أَوْكَفَ سَعْدٌ حِمَارًا لَهُ عَلَيْهِ قَطِيفَةٌ فَقَالَ لِابْنِهِ اذْهَبْ فَرَدَّ الْحِمَارَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ارْكَبْ عَلَى صَدْرِ حِمَارِكَ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ارْكَبْ قَالَ إنَّكَ رَبُّهُ قَالَ هُوَ لَكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibrahim ibn Sa'id narrated to us, he said: Waki' narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Layla narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Sa'd ibn Zurarah, from Muhammad ibn Shurahbil, from Qays ibn Sa'd ibn Ubadah, may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah came to the house of Sa'd and greeted, and Sa'd returned the greeting in a low voice. The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, departed, and Sa'd caught up with him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I only did that because I wanted you to increase your greetings to us." Then the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, came back and entered upon Sa'd. He brought him a vessel with water, and he bathed. Then he brought him a saffron-dyed sheet and he wrapped himself in it. Qays said: I saw the trace of saffron on his folds [of the body]. Then he said: "O Allah, send blessings upon the Ansar, and upon the children of the Ansar, and upon the children of the children of the Ansar." Then Sa'd saddled a donkey of his with a blanket on it and told his son: "Go and send the donkey back." The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, said: "Ride at the front of your donkey." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, you ride." He said: "You are its owner." He said: "It is yours, O Messenger of Allah."
