حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ السِّجِسْتَانِيُّ قَالَ نا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ نا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كُنَّا نَعُدُّ الشِّرْكَ الْأَصْغَرَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الرِّيَاءَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ إِنَّمَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يُذْكَرْ فِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَلَامًا لِأَنَّهُ قَالَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ نَحْفَظْ هَذَا الْكَلَامَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرْنَاهُ مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ الرِّيَاءَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ إِنَّمَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يُذْكَرْ فِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَلَامًا لِأَنَّهُ قَالَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ نَحْفَظْ هَذَا الْكَلَامَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرْنَاهُ مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Umar ibn al-Khattab al-Sijistani narrated to us, he said: Sa'id ibn al-Hakam narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Ayyub narrated to us from Umarah ibn Ghaziyyah from Ya'la ibn Shaddad ibn Aws from his father (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: We used to consider showing off (riya') as the lesser polytheism (al-shirk al-asghar) during the time of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). This hadith — we mentioned it even though it does not mention any words directly from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), because he said 'during the time of the Messenger of Allah,' and we did not preserve these words from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), so we mentioned it for that reason.
