حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جُنَادَةَ بْنَ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ أَتَاهُ وَهُوَ مَرِيضٌ فَقَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ مِنْ حَسَدِ حَاسِدٍ وَكُلِّ عَيْنٍ أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ وَاللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْ هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

Al-Fadl ibn Sahl narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullah ibn Salih ibn Muslim informed us, he said: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Thabit informed us, from 'Umayr ibn Hani', that he heard Junadah ibn Abi Umayyah, who heard 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit narrate from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), that Jibril (peace be upon him) came to him while he was ill and said: 'In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah for you, from every illness that harms you, from the evil of every envious person and every evil eye, may Allah cure you.'
