حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ صَلَاةً بِغَيْرِ طَهُورٍ وَلَا صَدَقَةً مِنْ غُلُولٍ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ نَحْوُ كَلَامِهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ وُجُوهٍ رَوَاهُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ وَأَنَسٌ فَذَكَرْنَا حَدِيثَ أَبِي مَلِيحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ دُونَ غَيْرِهِ فَإِنَّ إِسْنَادَهُ كَانَ أَحْسَنَ إِسْنَادًا مِنْ غَيْرِهِ

Abu Kamil narrated to us, he said: Abu 'Awanah informed us, from Qatadah, from Abu al-Malih, from his father. And Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far informed us, he said: Shu'bah informed us, from Qatadah, from Abu al-Malih, from his father (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) who said: 'Allah does not accept prayer without purification, nor charity from stolen goods (ghulul).' This hadith has been narrated with similar meaning from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) through various routes; Ibn 'Umar and Anas narrated it. We mentioned the hadith of Abu al-Malih from his father rather than others because its chain was the best among them.
