الترجمة الإنجليزية
Amr narrated to us, he said: Fudayl ibn Sulayman informed us, he said: Yazid ibn 'Amir ibn Abi al-Yasar informed us, from his father, from Abu al-Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, guide me to a deed that will admit me to Paradise.' He said: 'Restrain this,' and he pointed to his tongue. The man repeated his request, so the Prophet said: 'May your mother be bereaved of you! Are people thrown on their faces into the Fire for anything other than the harvests of their tongues?' Abu Bakr said: We do not know this hadith to be narrated from Abu al-Yasar except through this route, and we do not know anyone who narrated it except Amr ibn Malik from Fudayl ibn Sulayman, and we have not heard anyone corroborate him on this hadith, nor have we seen it from anyone else with a chain other than this chain. Since we do not know of any defect in it, we have mentioned it as its chain is good and its text is rare.
