حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ قَالَ نا فِطْرٌ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ صُبَيْحٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ خَمْسٌ قَدْ مَضَيْنَ انْشِقَاقُ الْقَمَرِ و الم غُلِبَتِ الرُّومُ و يَوْمَ تَأْتِي السَّمَاءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُبِينٍ و يَوْمَ نَبْطِشُ الْبَطْشَةَ الْكُبْرَى وَيَوْمَ بَدْرٍ يَقُولُ خَمْسٌ قَدْ مَضَيْنَ انْشِقَاقُ الْقَمَرِ و الم غُلِبَتِ الرُّومُ و يَوْمَ تَأْتِي السَّمَاءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُبِينٍ و يَوْمَ نَبْطِشُ الْبَطْشَةَ الْكُبْرَى وَيَوْمَ بَدْرٍ

Yusuf ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ubayd al-Tanafisi narrated to us, he said: Fitr narrated to us, from Muslim ibn Subayh, from Masruq, who said: I heard Ibn Mas'ud say: Five have already passed: the splitting of the moon, 'Alif Lam Mim. The Romans have been defeated,' 'The Day the sky will bring a visible smoke,' 'The Day We will strike with the greatest assault,' and the Day of Badr.
