حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ نا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ كُنَّا نَغْزُو مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَيْسَ مَعَنَا نِسَاءٌ فَاسْتَأْذَنَهُ بَعْضُنَا أَنْ يَسْتَخْصِيَ ـ أَوْ قَالَ لَوْ أَذِنْتَ لَنَا لَاخْتَصَيْنَا فَلَمْ يُرَخِّصْ لَنَا وَرَخَّصَ لَنَا فِي الِاسْتِمْتَاعِ بِالثَّوْبِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَيْسَ مَعَنَا نِسَاءٌ فَاسْتَأْذَنَهُ بَعْضُنَا أَنْ يَسْتَخْصِيَ ـ أَوْ قَالَ لَوْ أَذِنْتَ لَنَا لَاخْتَصَيْنَا فَلَمْ يُرَخِّصْ لَنَا وَرَخَّصَ لَنَا فِي الِاسْتِمْتَاعِ بِالثَّوْبِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, he stated: Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us from Isma'il from Qays from Hadrat Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with him), he stated: We used to go on military expeditions with the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and we had no women with us. Some of us asked his permission to castrate ourselves — or he said: if you would permit us, we would castrate ourselves. But he did not grant us permission for that, and he granted us permission for temporary enjoyment by means of clothing.
