وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْعَدْلُ أنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمُزَكِّي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ يَقِفُ عَلَى قَبْرِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَيَدْعُو ثُمَّ يَدْعُو لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ؓ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to Mu'adh when he sent him to Yemen: "How will you judge?" He said: "By the Book of Allah." He said: "If you do not find it in the Book of Allah?" He said: "By the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah." He said: "If you do not find it there?" He said: "I will exercise my own judgment." The Prophet said: "Praise be to Allah who has guided the messenger of the Messenger of Allah."
