أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ حَفْصٍ الزَّاهِدُ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ أنبأ وَكِيعٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ ذُكِرَ عِنْدَهُ الْوُضُوءُ مِنَ الطَّعَامِ قَالَ الْأَعْمَشُ مَرَّةً وَالْحِجَامَةُ لِلصَّائِمِ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا الْوُضُوءُ مِمَّا يَخْرُجُ وَلَيْسَ مِمَّا يَدْخُلُ وَإِنَّمَا الْفِطْرُ مِمَّا دَخَلَ وَلَيْسَ مِمَّا خَرَجَ وَرُوِّينَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِلَقِيطِ بْنِ صَبِرَةَ وَبَالِغْ فِي الِاسْتِنْشَاقِ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ صَائِمًا
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn 'Abbas was asked about ablution from food, and al-A'mash once said 'and cupping for the fasting person.' He said: 'Ablution is only required from what comes out, not from what goes in. And breaking the fast is only from what enters, not from what comes out.' And we have narrated from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said to Laqit ibn Sabira: 'Exaggerate in sniffing water into the nose, unless you are fasting.'
