أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو صَالِحِ بْنُ بِنْتِ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ الْقَاضِي أنبأ جَدِّي ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثنا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَعْتَقَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي عُذْرَةٍ عَبْدًا لَهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ أَلَكَ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُ؟ فَقَالَ لَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ يَشْتَرِيهِ مِنِّي فَاشْتَرَاهُ نُعَيْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْعَدَوِيُّ بِثَمَانِمِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ فَجَاءَ بِهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَدَفَعَهَا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ ابْدَأْ بِنَفْسِكَ فَتَصَدَّقْ عَلَيْهَا فَإِنْ فَضَلَ شَيْءٌ فَلِأَهْلِكَ فَإِنْ فَضَلَ عَنْ أَهْلِكَ فَلِذِي قَرَابَتِكَ فَإِنْ فَضَلَ عَنْ ذِي قَرَابَتِكَ فَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا يَقُولُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ وَعَنْ يَمِينِكَ وَعَنْ شِمَالِكَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Salih ibn Bint Yahya ibn Mansur al-Qadi informed us... from Jabir who said: A man from Banu Udhrah freed a slave of his upon his death. This reached the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), who said: 'Do you have any other wealth?' He said: 'No.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Who will buy him from me?' Nu'aym ibn Abdullah al-Adawi bought him for eight hundred dirhams. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) brought the money and gave it to the man, then said: 'Begin with yourself and spend on it. If something remains, then for your family. If something remains after your family, then for your relatives. If something remains after your relatives, then like this and like this' - meaning in front of you, to your right, and to your left.
