أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ثنا حَفْصٌ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ وَعَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى {وَآتُوا حَقَّهُ يَوْمَ حَصَادِهِ} [الأنعام 141] قَالَ كَانُوا يُعْطُونَ مَنِ اعْتَرَاهُمْ شَيْئًا سِوَى الصَّدَقَةِ إِلَّا أَنَّ حَفْصًا لَمْ يَقُلْ سِوَى الصَّدَقَةِ

Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz, Abu Bakr ibn al-Hasan, and Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr narrated to us: Abu al-Abbas narrated to us: al-Hasan ibn Ali narrated to us: Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us: Hafs and Abd al-Rahim narrated from Ash'ath ibn Sawwar, from Muhammad ibn Sirin and from Nafi', from Ibn Umar regarding the statement of Allah Most High: 'And give its due on the day of its harvest' [al-An'am 141], he said: They used to give to whoever came to them something besides the charity, except that Hafs did not say 'besides the charity.'
