قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ الْقَدَّاحُ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ فُطَيْرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَخْرُصُ الْعَرَايَا وَلَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَلَا عُمَرُ ؓ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَهُمَا مُرْسَلَانِ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ فِيهِ حَدِيثٌ مَوْصُولٌ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
And Sa'id ibn Salim al-Qaddah narrated from Ibn Jurayj, from Futayr al-Ansari, that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) did not estimate the 'araya, nor did Abu Bakr, nor 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them). The Shaykh said: Both are mursal (disconnected), though a connected hadith has also been narrated on this.
