أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ الْبَزَّازُ عَنْ أَدْهَمَ مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ كُنَّا نَقُولُ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ تَقَبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا وَمِنْكَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَيَرُدُّ عَلَيْنَا وَلَا يُنْكِرُ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْنَا وَقَدْ رُوِيَ حَدِيثٌ مَرْفُوعٌ فِي كَرَاهِيَةِ ذَلِكَ وَلَا يَصِحُّ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz narrated to us... from Adham, the freed slave of Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz, who said: We used to say to Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz on the two Eids: 'May Allah accept from us and from you, O Commander of the Faithful,' and he would respond to us without objecting to it. A marfu hadith (attributed to the Prophet) has been narrated regarding the dislike of that, but it is not authentic.
