أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَد�� بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا ابْنُ مِلْحَانَ ثنا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ مَوْلَى عُفْرَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنَ أَبِي مَالِكٍ يُخْبِرُ عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ تَكُونُ لَهُ الْغَنِيمَةُ فِي حَاشِيَةِ الْقَرْيَةِ يَكُونُ فِيهَا وَيَشْهَدُ الصَّلَاةَ فَإِذَا تَعَذَّرَتْ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ لَوْ أَنِّي ارْتَفَعْتُ إِلَى رَدْهَةٍ هِيَ أَعْفَى مِنْهَا كَلَاءً فَيَرْتَفِعُ إِلَيْهَا حَتَّى لَا يَأْتِيَ الْمَسْجِدَ إِلَّا كُلَّ جُمُعَةٍ حَتَّى إِذَا تَعَذَّرَتْ وَأَكَلَ مَا حَوْلَهَا قَالَ لَوِ ارْتَفَعَتُ إِلَى رَدْهَةٍ هِيَ أَعْفَى مِنْهَا كَلَاءً فَيَرْتَفِعُ إِلَيْهَا حَتَّى لَا يَأْتِيَ الْجُمُعَةَ وَلَا يَدْرِي مَا يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ؟ حَتَّى يَطْبَعَ اللهُ عَلَى قَلْبِهِ وَكَذَلِكَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Hasan 'Ali ibn Ahmad ibn 'Abdan informed us... from al-Layth, from 'Umar ibn 'Abdullah the freed slave of 'Ufrah, who heard Tha'labah ibn Abi Malik report from Harithah ibn al-Nu'man, from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) who said: 'A man has a flock of sheep on the outskirts of a village where he lives and attends the prayers. Then when pasture becomes scarce, he says: If only I moved to a pasture with more grass. So he moves until he no longer comes to the mosque except every Friday. Then when pasture becomes scarce again and he moves further until he no longer attends the Friday prayer. He does not even know what day Friday is, until Allah seals his heart.' And so it continues.
