أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ زَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ الْعَلَوِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ وَأَبُوبَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ دُحَيْمٍ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ثنا وَكِيعٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ شَهِدْتُ الدَّارَ يَوْمَ قُتِلَ عُثْمَانُ ؓ فَمَرَرْتُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَإِذَا رَجُلٌ يُنَادِي فِي ظُلَّةِ النِّسَاءِ مُحْتَبٍ بِسَيْفِهِ عَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ فَإِذَا عَلِيٌّ ؓ قَالَ مَا صُنِعَ بِالرَّجُلِ؟ قُلْتُ قُتِلَ قَالَ تَبًّا لَكُمْ سَائِرَ الدَّهْرِ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Qasim Zayd ibn Abi Hashim al-'Alawi in Kufa and Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn al-Hasan al-Qadi informed us... from Waki', from al-A'mash, from Thabit ibn 'Ubayd, from Abu Ja'far al-Ansari who said: 'I witnessed the house (of 'Uthman) on the day 'Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) was killed. I passed through the mosque and there was a man calling out in the women's gallery, leaning on his sword with a black turban. It was 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). He said: What has been done to the man? I said: He was killed. He said: May you be ruined for the rest of time.'
