أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي ذُبَابٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ «مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ شَاهِرًا يَدَيْهِ قَطُّ، يَدْعُو عَلَى مِنْبَرِهِ وَلَا عَلَى غَيْرِهِ، وَلَكِنْ رَأَيْتُهُ يَقُولُ: هَكَذَا، وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ، وَعَقَدَ الْوُسْطَى بِالْإِبْهَامِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu 'Ali al-Rudhbari informed us... from Abu Dawud... from Musaddad... from Bishr ibn al-Mufaddal... from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ishaq, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mu'awiyah... from Ibn Abi Dhubab, from Sahl ibn Sa'd who said: 'I never saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) raising his hands while supplicating on the minbar or elsewhere. Rather, I saw him doing like this' - and he pointed with his index finger, forming a circle with his middle finger and thumb.
