وَأَخْبَرَنَا بِحَدِيثِ أَنَسٍ أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْمُحَمَّدَآبَاذِيُّ أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ السَّعْدِيُّ أنبأ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أنبأ حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ فِي حُجْرَتِهِ فَأَتَاهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ فَصَلُّوا بِصَلَاتِهِ فَخَفَّفَ فَدَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ مِرَارًا كُلَّ ذَلِكَ يُصَلِّي ثُمَّ يَنْصَرِفُ وَيَدْخُلُ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّيْنَا مَعَكَ الْبَارِحَةَ وَنَحْنُ نُحِبُّ أَنْ تَمُدَّ فِي صَلَاتِكَ فَقَالَ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ بِمَكَانِكُمْ عَمْدًا فَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Anas ibn Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was praying one night in his room, and some of his companions came and prayed following his prayer. He shortened it and entered the house, then came out and did this several times - each time praying then leaving and entering. In the morning they said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we prayed with you last night and we wished you had prolonged your prayer.' He said: 'I was aware of your presence and did that deliberately.'
