أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي وَغَيْرُهُمَا قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ قَالَ سَأَلُوا سَهْلَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ ؓ مِنْ أِيِّ شَيْءٍ مِنْبَرُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ مَا بَقِيَ مِنَ النَّاسِ أَحَدٌ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي مِنْ أَثْلِ الْغَابَةِ عَمِلَهُ لَهُ فُلَانٌ مَوْلَى فُلَانَةَ وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حَيْثُ صَعَدَ عَلَيْهِ اسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ فَكَبَّرَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ ثُمَّ نَزَلَ الْقَهْقَرَى فَسَجَدَ ثُمَّ صَعَدَ فَقَرَأَ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ ثُمَّ نَزَلَ الْقَهْقَرَى فَسَجَدَ أَخْرَجَاهُ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
They asked Sahl ibn Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him): 'From what wood was the minbar of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) made?' He said: 'No one alive knows it better than I do. It was from tamarisk wood of al-Ghabah. So-and-so, the freed slave of so-and-so woman, made it for him. I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) when he ascended it - he faced the qiblah, said the takbir, then recited, then bowed, then stepped back and prostrated. Then he ascended again, recited, bowed, then stepped back and prostrated.' This is recorded in both Sahihs from the hadith of Ibn 'Uyaynah.
