أنبأ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّزَّازُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ أنبأ سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الْأَوْدِيِّ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ لَمَّا طُعِنَ قَدَّمُوا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ صَلَّى بِهُمُ الْفَجْرَ فَقَرَأَ إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللهِ وَإِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ طُعِنَ قَدَّمُوا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ صَلَّى بِهُمُ الْفَجْرَ فَقَرَأَ إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللهِ وَإِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Husayn ibn Bishran in Baghdad informed us, from Abu Ja'far al-Razzaz, from Yahya ibn Ja'far, from Zayd ibn al-Hubab, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from Amr ibn Maymun al-Awdi, that when Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) was stabbed, they appointed Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf to lead them in the Fajr prayer, and he recited "When the victory of Allah has come" [Surah al-Nasr] and "Indeed, We have granted you al-Kawthar" [Surah al-Kawthar].
