أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الرَّبِيعُ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ أنبأ خَالِدٌ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ثنا أَبُو الْمُهَلَّبِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ أَوِ الْعَصْرَ ثَلَاثَ رَكَعَاتٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ الْخِرْبَاقُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّمَا صَلَّيْتَ ثَلَاثَ رَكَعَاتٍ قَالَ أَكَذَلِكَ؟ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ سَجَدَ ثُمَّ تَشَهَّدَ وَسَلَّمَ وَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ هَذَا هُوَ الصَّحِيحُ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Hasan al-Muqri informed us... from Imran ibn Husayn that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed Dhuhr or Asr with only three rak'ahs. A man called al-Khirbaq said to him: O Messenger of Allah, you only prayed three rak'ahs. He asked: Is that so? They said: Yes. So he stood and prayed, then prostrated, then recited the tashahhud, gave the salutation, and performed two prostrations of forgetfulness, then gave the salutation. This is the correct wording, and Allah knows best.
