أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا قُرَّةُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ ثنا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ سَجَدَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ ؓ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ وَاقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ وَمَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُمَا وَرُوِّينَا السُّجُودَ فِي اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) prostrated in 'When the sky has split' (al-Inshiqaq) and 'Read in the name of your Lord who created' (al-Alaq), and someone better than them [i.e., the Prophet]. And we narrated the prostration in 'Read in the name of your Lord' from Ali and Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them).
