أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أنبأ دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُصَلِّي فِي بَيْتِهِ ثُمَّ يُدْرِكُ الْجَمَاعَةَ؟ قَالَ يُصَلِّيهَا مَعَهُمْ قَالَ قُلْتُ فَبِأَيِّهِمَا يَحْتَسِبُ؟ قَالَ بِالَّذِي صَلَّى مَعَ الْإِمَامِ فَإِنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ صَلَاةُ الرَّجُلِ فِي الْجَمْعِ تَزِيدُ عَلَى صَلَاتِهِ وَحْدَهُ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ صَلَاةً
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Husayn ibn Bishran informed us in Baghdad, Isma'il ibn Muhammad al-Saffar informed us by reading to him, al-Hasan ibn Mukram narrated to us, Yazid ibn Harun informed us, Dawud ibn Abi Hind informed us. He said: I asked Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib about a man who prays at home and then catches the congregation. He said: 'He should pray with them.' I said: 'Which of the two should he count?' He said: 'The one he prayed with the imam, for Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to us that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: A man's prayer in the congregation exceeds his prayer alone by twenty-five prayers.'
