أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ الْفَضْلِ ثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيّ�� ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى ثنا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ أَنَّ السُّنَّةَ إِذَا أَدْرَكَ الرَّجُلُ رَكْعَةً مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ فَإِذَا سَلَّمَ الْإِمَامُ قَامَ فَرَكَعَ الثَّانِيَةَ فَجَلَسَ فِيهَا وَتَشَهَّدَ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَرَكَعَ الرَّكْعَةَ الثَّالِثَةَ فَتَشَهَّدَ فِيهَا ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ عَلَى هَذِهِ السُّنَّةِ فِيمَا يَجْلِسُ فِيهِ مِنْهُنَّ قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ قَالَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ حَدِّثُونِي بِثَلَاثِ رَكَعَاتٍ يُتَشَهَّدُ فِيهِنَّ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ فَإِذَا سُئِلَ عَنْهَا قَالَ تِلْكَ صَلَاةُ الْمَغْرِبِ يُسْبَقُ الرَّجُلُ مِنْهَا بِرَكْعَةٍ ثُمَّ يُدْرِكُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَيَتَشَهَّدُ فِيهِمَا

Abu Sa'id Muhammad ibn Musa ibn al-Fadl informed us, Abu Muhammad Ahmad ibn Abdullah al-Muzani narrated to us, Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Isa narrated to us, Abu al-Yaman narrated to us, Shu'ayb ibn Abi Hamzah informed me from al-Zuhri, Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib narrated to us that the Sunnah is: when a man catches one rak'ah of the Maghrib prayer with the imam, he sits with the imam. When the imam gives the salam, he stands and prays the second rak'ah, sits in it and makes the tashahhud, then stands and prays the third rak'ah, makes the tashahhud in it, then gives the salam. The other prayers follow the same rule regarding where one sits. Al-Zuhri said: Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib said: 'Tell me of three rak'ahs in which the tashahhud is recited three times.' When asked about it, he would say: 'That is the Maghrib prayer when a man misses one rak'ah and catches two, so he makes the tashahhud in both of them.'
