أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أُسَيْدُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ سُئِلَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَقِيلَ لَهُ أَيَقْطَعُ الْكَلْبُ وَالْحِمَارُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ الصَّلَاةَ؟ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ {إِلَيْهِ يَصْعَدُ الْكَلِمُ الطِّيبُ وَالْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ يَرْفَعُهُ} [فاطر 10] فَمَا يَقْطَعُ هَذَا وَلَكِنْ يُكْرَهُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ ثنا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ

Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz and Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Amr informed us, they said: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, Usayd ibn Asim narrated to us, al-Husayn ibn Hafs narrated to us from Sufyan al-Thawri from Simak from Ikrimah. He said: Ibn Abbas was asked: Does the dog, the donkey, and the woman interrupt the prayer? Ibn Abbas said: 'To Him ascend the good words, and righteous deeds He raises' [Fatir 10]. So what can interrupt this? But it is disliked. Abu Tahir al-Faqih informed us, Abu Uthman al-Basri informed us, Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us, Ya'la ibn Ubayd narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us and mentioned it similarly.
