Abu Ali al-Rudhbari informed us, Abu Bakr ibn Dasah informed us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, al-Qa'nabi narrated to us, Abd al-Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us from Muhammad ibn Amr from Abu Salamah from Aisha who said: I used to lie across in the prayer direction of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would pray while I was in front of him. When he wanted to perform the witr, he would say: Move aside. Urwah narrated from Aisha: When he wanted to perform the witr, he would wake me up and I would perform the witr. That is more correct.
