أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ أَبُو عَمْرٍو عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ السَّمَّاكِ ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الْمُنَادِي ثنا شَبَابَةُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ الْعَدَوِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يَقْطَعُ صَلَاةَ الرَّجُلِ إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِثْلُ مُؤَخِّرَةِ الرَّحْلِ الْمَرْأَةُ وَالْحِمَارُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْأَسْوَدُ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ فَمَا بَالُ الْأَسْوَدِ مِنَ الْأَبْيَضِ مِنَ الْأَحْمَرِ؟ قَالَ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَمَا سَأَلْتَنِي فَقَالَ الْكَلْبُ الْأَسْوَدُ شَيْطَانٌ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu al-Hasan Muhammad ibn al-Husayn ibn Muhammad ibn al-Fadl al-Qattan informed us in Baghdad, Abu Amr Uthman ibn Ahmad ibn al-Sammak informed us, Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Ubaydullah al-Munadi narrated to us, Shababah ibn Sawwar narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from Humayd ibn Hilal al-Adawi. He said: I heard Abdullah ibn al-Samit saying: I heard Abu Dharr saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying: 'The prayer of a man is interrupted, when there is nothing in front of him like the back of a saddle, by a woman, a donkey, and a black dog.' I said: O Abu Dharr, what is the matter with the black dog as opposed to the white or the red? He said: O nephew, I asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) just as you asked me, and he said: The black dog is a devil.
