أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لِسُلَيْمَانَ قَالَا ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ ؓ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَصَبْنَا حُمُرًا فَطَبَخْنَاهَا فَأَمَرَ مُنَادِيًا فَنَادَى أَوْ قَالَ فَأَمَرَ فَنُودِيَ أَنْ أَكْفِئُوا الْقُدُورَ 19455 قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى ؓ بِمِثْلِهِ

Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Abdan informed us, Ahmad ibn Ubayd informed us, Abu Muslim narrated to us, Sulayman ibn Harb and Amr ibn Marzuq narrated to us - and the wording is that of Sulayman - they said: Shu'bah narrated to us from Adiy ibn Thabit, from al-Bara' (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: "We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and we obtained some donkeys, so we cooked them. Then he ordered a caller, and he called out - or he said: he ordered, and it was called out - to overturn the pots." 19455: He said: And Abu Muslim narrated to us, Sulayman ibn Harb narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from Adiy ibn Thabit, from Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) with a similar report.
