أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ وَاقِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِعَمْرَةَ فَقَالَتْ صَدَقَ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ ؓ تَقُولُ دَفَّ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ حَضْرَةَ الْأَضْحَى فِي زَمَانِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ادَّخِرُوا لِثَلَاثٍ وَتَصَدَّقُوا بِمَا بَقِيَ قَالَتْ فَلَمَّا كَانَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَقَدْ كَانَ النَّاسُ يَنْتَفِعُونَ مِنْ ضَحَايَاهُمْ يَجْمُلُونَ مِنْهَا الْوَدَكَ وَيَتَّخِذُونَ مِنْهَا الْأَسْقِيَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَمَا ذَاكَ ؟ أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ نَهَيْتَ عَنْ أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الضَّحَايَا بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّمَا نَهَيْتُكُمْ مِنْ أَجْلِ الدَّافَّةِ الَّتِي دَفَّتْ حَضْرَةَ الْأَضْحَى فَكُلُوا وَتَصَدَّقُوا وَادَّخِرُوا

Abu Zakariyya ibn Abi Ishaq informed us > Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub > al-Rabi' ibn Sulayman > al-Shafi'i > Malik > Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr > Abdullah ibn Waqid ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days. Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr said: I mentioned that to Amrah, and she said: He spoke the truth. I heard Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) say: Some people from the desert came at the time of Eid al-Adha during the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him), so the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Store for three days and give in charity what remains.' She said: After that, it was said: O Messenger of Allah, people used to benefit from their sacrificial animals; they would render fat from them and make water skins from them. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'What about that?' or something similar. They said: O Messenger of Allah, you forbade eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'I only forbade you because of the influx of people who came at the time of Eid al-Adha. So eat, give in charity, and store.'
