وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْكَعْبِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ أنبأ مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا يَحْيَى ثنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ثنا عَطَاءٌ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ ؓ يَقُولُ كُنَّا لَا نَأْكُلُ مِنْ لَحْمِ بُدْنِنَا فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ فَرَخَّصَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُوا وَتَزَوَّدُوا فَأَكَلْنَا وَتَزَوَّدْنَا قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ قَالَ جَابِرٌ حَتَّى جِئْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ قَالَ لَا
الترجمة الإنجليزية
And Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Ka'bi informed me, Muhammad ibn Ayyub informed us, Musaddad narrated to us, Yahya narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, Ata' narrated to us that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) saying: "We used not to eat from the meat of our sacrificial animals beyond three days. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) granted us the concession. He said: 'Eat and take provisions.' So we ate and took provisions." I said to Ata': "Did Jabir say: 'Until we came to Madinah'?" He said: "No."
