أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أنبأ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ أَبِي تَمِيمَةَ السَّخْتِيَانِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الذَّكَاةُ فِي الْحَلْقِ وَاللَّبَّةِ

Abu Zakariyya ibn Abi Ishaq and Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn al-Hasan informed us, they said: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub informed us, Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abd al-Hakam informed us, Ibn Wahb informed us, he said: I heard Sufyan ibn Sa'id narrating from Ayyub ibn Abi Tamimah al-Sakhtiyani from Sa'id ibn Jubayr from Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: "Proper slaughter is in the throat and the upper chest."
