أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ أنبأ مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ الْمُعْتَمِرِ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ؓ قَالَ خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى صَلَاتَنَا وَنَسَكَ مَنْسَكَنَا فَقَدْ أَصَابَ النُّسُكَ وَمَنْ نَسَكَ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ فَتِلْكَ شَاةُ لَحْمٍ فَقَامَ أَبُو بُرْدَةَ بْنُ دِينَارٍ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَاللهِ لَقَدْ نَسَكْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَخْرُجَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَقَدْ عَرَفْتُ أَنَّ الْيَوْمَ يَوْمُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ فَتَعَجَّلْتُ وَأَكَلْتُ وَأَطْعَمْتُ أَهْلِي وَجِيرَانِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تِلْكَ شَاةُ لَحْمٍ قَالَ فَإِنَّ عِنْدِي عَنَاقًا جَذَعَةً خَيْرٌ مِنْ شَاتَيْ لَحْمٍ فَهَلْ تُجْزِي عَنِّي؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَلَنْ تُجْزِيَ عَنْ أَحَدٍ بَعْدَكَ
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, Abu al-Nadr Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Faqih informed me, Muhammad ibn Ayyub informed us, Musaddad narrated to us, Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us from Mansur ibn al-Mu'tamir from al-Sha'bi from al-Bara' ibn Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed us on the Day of Sacrifice after the prayer and said: "Whoever prayed our prayer and performed our ritual has fulfilled the rite, and whoever performed the ritual before the prayer, that is a sheep of meat." Abu Burdah ibn Dinar stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allah, by Allah, I performed the ritual before going out to pray, and I knew that today is a day of eating and drinking, so I hastened and ate and fed my family and neighbors." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That is a sheep of meat." He said: "I have a young female goat better than two sheep of meat. Will it suffice for me?" He said: "Yes, but it will not suffice for anyone after you."
