And Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Abdan informed us, Ahmad ibn Ubayd narrated to us, Tamtam narrated to us, Abu Hudhayfah narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us from Asim ibn Kulayb from his father who said: There was a man from the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called Mujashi' ibn Mas'ud al-Sulami. Sheep became scarce, so he ordered a caller to announce: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Indeed, a young sheep from the ewes suffices for what a two-year-old suffices for."
